AT&T has newly introduced two handsets via conference event, the LG Thrill 4G and the HTC HD7S. As the AT&T’s version of LG Optimus 3D, the Thrill 4G will feature the same glasses-free 3D LCD screen display and at the same time, just as the phone’s name suggests, the upcoming Thrill 4G will additionally support the fast HSPA+ network on the phone. Just when the device is to be available in AT&T stores will be still isn’t known for sure at this moment, but the current information indicates that it’ll land on AT&T as soon as possible.
It seems that AT&T is going to have a great line up on both Android and WP7 based smartphones this year, which is a really good point for his future development. As for the LG Thrill 4G itself, the device is pretty cool by running the dual-core and dual-channel 1GHz processor and delivering fresh 3D viewing experience through a vivid, colorful and bright display. Running Android 2.2 Froyo and powerful CPU, we said that the Thrill 4G can be regarded as a viable choice for Android business users, while in terms of the fact that the device is capable of recording 3D video at 720p resolution, it can be served as a nice tool for entertainment, by the way. Other features will include 16GB of memory card as well as a 5MP rear facing cam. Well, the size hasn’t been unveiled, though, we guess it to be the same 4.3-inch as LG Optimus 3D. Anyway, we’d have loved to see something a bit more high end on a smartphone focused not only on the business but entertainment field as well.
