BlackBerry Bold Touch – New BlackBerry Phones

As you can see, the BlackBerry Bold Touch has been presented in several live images below and this device is pretty similar to the BlackBerry Bold 9000 from an appearance standpoint. Known as the BlackBerry Montana (the CDMA version) and the BlackBerry Dakota (the GSM version), this device is to bring a bunch of fresh fish into the BlackBerry world, and indeed it does look more attractive than the original Bold 9700 or the Bold 9780.

Being the first BlackBerry Bold product that comes with both a front-facing QWERTY keyboard and a touchwiz screen, we do admire the phone’s exciting new and luxurious design and Blackberry has announced it as the thinnest BB phone ever, with the dimension of 115x66x10.5 mm. Besides the powerful Qualcomm 1.2GHz CPU, users can expect a vivid sight viewing on the capacitive display with comparatively high resolution of 640 x 480 pixels, though the screen is bit small by measuring 2.8-inch. There’s no words on the processor, but the BlackBerry OS 6.1 will be probable.

Well, the front of the phone reveals a QWERTY keyboard with large keys and ample space that resembles the one on the Bold 9000, but you can actually find the improvement on the phone’s back. The phone’s rear has unveiled a carbon fiber battery door, in which case users can have a very nice holding and there’s no need to fear that you’ll drop the phone.

Yet again we haven’t got a confirmed release date, neither a price tag of the smartphone. Hope it will be out on shelves as soon as possible as well as the price. In a word, for those who don’t want to complicate their lives with some sort of BlackBerry products, the BB Bold Touch might probably turns out to be a healthy solution since this platform doesn’t come off as being overly complicated and the combination of capacitive screen and physical keyboard prove to be a good improvement for convenience.

Is this even going to be on AT&T?

The Bold 9780 went straight to T-Mobile but AT&T (or Rim whomever makes this decision) passed it over.
