While details surrounding the Motorola Droid X’s follow-up are still scarce for the time being, the rumor we can glean from SCK seems somewhat intriguing since Motorola has just decreased the phone’s SD card memory from 16GB to 2GB. Other than that, the poster also unveils a shipment date as on March 9th and it’s said that the Motorola Droid X2′s price will be set at the same level as the original device.
When comparing the Motorola Droid X2 with its predecessor, it’s obvious that the source of the image just presents another Motorola Droid X with a smaller memory card. You won’t find massive changes to the look and feel of this device, so the lack of creativity could be well delivered in the phone’s appearance. Well, neither Verizon nor Motorola has given any hints on why anything is being done with the next generation, but honestly to say, the phone’s storage doesn’t mean much if it has expanded SD card slot. Besides, we think that working on making a better hardware revision (just like screen or CPU advancement) than the old one might be much better for Motorola’s development, don’t you think so?
