Nokia T7-00 phone is a Symbian^3 device including a frequency 700MHz ARM11 processor. From the appearance it looks like N8 very much. It integrated an 8 megapixel camera dual-LED flash instead of 12 megapixel autofocus Zeiss shooter with xenon flash of N8. And there is a particular design that it has a radio which can handle China’s proprietary TD-SCDMA standard.
It still has a supper screen to display with resolution of 360*640 pixel level. Other basic features like WLAN wireless local area network and the GSM/WCDMA/HSDPA network, 3D graphics hardware accelerator, better 3D gaming experience are supported. But it is a pity that it is a little thick. In an exaggerative saying that it is as big as a paperback book! So it will be better if thinner.
Nokia T7-00 phone is a dumbed down N8. It is also a customized version of N8 for TD-SCDMA standard for the Chinese Market. The success of Chinese market is critical to the success of Nokia. From the above we could see Nokia spend more effort on T7-00 to make it suitable for Chinese market. So the Nokia T7-00 phone will help Nokia a lot to reach its goal that sells 150 million symbian handsets in recent several years.
