Samsung announce a new smartphone– Samsung Galaxy Prevail Cell Phone for Boost Mobile. It schedules to unveil the details of this new phone on April 5th in New York City.
Samsung Galaxy Prevail Cell Phone seemed to be a low-end handset. It is similar to the Galaxy Gio but with a CDMA radio and a downgraded shooter. It runs on Android operating system but no exact version. It features a 3.2 inches touchscreen and a 2 megapixel camera and a video. The camera is just so. Other basic functions such as GPS, IM, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi will be supported. Other details will be disclosed on the event on April 5th.
Though Samsung Galaxy Prevail Cell Phone is the second handset will be released by Boost Mobile, it is just a so normal one. It will price at $180 without any contract. I can not imagine what Samsung Galaxy Prevail Cell Phone will bring to Boost Mobile, excitement or disappointment. But I think they need to sell a good at least mid or mid-high end smartphone on the CDMA side. That will satisfy most of the customers.
