The Nokia X1-00 is rushing its way onto entry-level devices lineup since Nokia has already announced this brand new device that comes with low-end software and aims at music functionality as well. At the same time, they have claimed that this music-oriented entry-level device will go for a price as low as €34 before taxes. And as far as the launch date, it would appear on any date in April in selected areas such as Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America.
Well, judging from the live image, the Nokia X1-00 is a rehash of other entry-level handsets Nokia has ever made, so it’s not impressed, maybe the bright yellow color is the main difference that distinguishes itself from others. When in terms of the hardware, it’s a mix of quality and cheap. Holding the phone in hands feels like you have something substantial since the device is as bulky as a brick. Under the hood it runs Symbian Series 30, while other features are as follows, FM radio, GSM/EDGE connectivity, MicroSD card slot that can be expanded to 16GB as well as 1320mAh battery life.
Just as mentioned before, this device is mainly for music and it’s said that customers can use it as a music player since the loudspeaker can deliver high-fidelity sound even at the highest volumes.
Obviously just like the Samsung Galaxy Pro that having been announced recently, the Nokia X1-00 is also designed for people who don’t need or simply can’t afford an expensive smartphone and actually, there’s still a great many potential customers like them. But for those customers preferring high-end technology and targeting for the more advanced devices to watch videos or play games like Angry Birds when waiting for a bus, the Nokia X1-00 isn’t the ideal phone, maybe LG Optimus Black or the Apple iPhone is your food.
