From the leaked files, we can see a device with a model number GT-i9100 rolls into FCC, which appears to be the imminent successor of Samsung Galaxy S. Since the device has passed the FCC approval, we can expect a coming release date as soon as possible, however, Samsung is pretty tight-lipped on which carrier it will firstly come out. Thanks to the FCC, we’ve known that the phone runs 850/1900Mhz 3G network, which makes it probable for Galaxy S II head for AT&T Wireless. But it’s only from guess rather than official documents, anyway, if it turns out to be true, the successor will be the one of the top 3G capable devices for AT&T.
As for the Samsung Galaxy S II itself, the design of the phone and the latest Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system coupled with the dual-core CPU technology has made it an attractive buy. With such kind of advanced tech and the added functionality, the Samsung Galaxy S II can be regarded as one of the smartphones that will be cutting into the market share of laptops. Though it’s not supporting 4G or LTE network, the 3G connectivity can still make sharing those special moments with friends and family quick and easy. In a word, the Galaxy S II looks pretty cool, so is there anyone getting ready for it if the device ever comes out?
