Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc to be available in UK from April 1 for £459.99

The latest news has shown that Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc, aka the Anzu or the Xperia X12 is to hit UK starting from April 1st. Pre-orders of the phone is now available on British retailer Play.com website with price of £459.99 if you want free delivery, which is £40 cheaper than the RRP of the device. The smartphone is powerful in terms of the inner features and it’s also sexy when comes to the thin and elliptical side appearance with the thinnest part measures only 8.7mm.

It’s been a long time coming to us, but it’s starting to look like things just might be starting line up since the phone’s features reconfirmed earlier this month. So, if you just forget what you can expect from the phone, let me tell you. The Xperia Arc rocks Android 2.3 Gingerbread as well as the same 1GHz Snapdragon processor on HTC Desire HD, measuring 4.2-inch, the screen is very large with three physical keys on the bottom of display. Turning to the backside, you can find a 8.1MP camera with autofocus, but it’s a pity there’s no front facing camera for video chatting.

Actually, from a consumer standpoint, people always wanna have a popular software and hardware platform that can deliver both powerful function and fashion looking, and I think the Xperia X12 is just the cake. Unfortunately, Sony hasn’t unveiled when the device will hit US, neither the pricing tag, so stay tuned.
