Sony Ericsson has just taken the wraps off their Xperia Neo handset, which shares close ties with his cousin Xperia Pro in terms of circular arc shaped looking, but unlike the Xperia Pro, the Xperia Neo doesn’t come with a slide-out physical keyboard, which makes the phone present in a more simple way. It’s said that the Xperia Neo is to be available sometime near the end of Q1 this year, so we expect an official announcement very soon as well as what will probably prove to be the most important info of all for this phone, namely the price tag.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo is one magnificently designed smartphone that shows the talent that Sony has in the design and screen department. With this live video, we can see some responsiveness and accuracy issues in registering finger touch on the 4-inch 854×480 resolution touchwiz screen. Under the hood, there’s a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU and the Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Besides, an 8MP camera with HD video recording is well built in Xperia Neo’s aluminium casing and comes with HDMI output as well. It seems that there’s a slightly curved glass over the top of the screen, so when looking at the top or the bottom, the device looks elliptical, which is a so ergonomic shape that makes the phone easier to hold in one’s hands.
In a word, the Xperia Neo packs enough enticing features to make customers gravitate to it over the slide-out type Xperia Pro, do you think so?
