Sprint HTC Arrive – New Sprint Phones

We have heard many rumors about the first upcoming CDMA Windows Phone 7 smartphone for Sprint, but now we have crystal clear proof since Sprint has officially acclaimed HTC Arrive (aka HTC 7 Pro) as his first WP7 device. Before we break down the smartphone, we’ll offer you the cost and release details. The Sprint Wireless will match other high end phones’ pricing, which is $199.99 with a new 2-year agreement. As for the launch date, the HTC Arrive is due on shelves beginning March 20 while the pre-orders have been available starting now at Sprint shops.

For the device itself, the design is creative by presenting a tilt-up display, which can make browsing or checking documents or watching videos in a much more comfortable way. Besides, the HTC Arrive is packing the convenience of a landscape style QWERTY keyboard. As for the other features, it seems somewhat dead on, including a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, a 3.6-inch WVGA touchwiz display, a 5MP camera with flash and capable of 720p video recording, 16GB of storage and 1500mAh battery life.

The phone feels pretty solid in the hands and the soft touch buttons on the keyboard give it a quality feel, just as you can see in the image, the buttons are also spaced out from one another and prominently raised to offer users a good feedback and travel, which somewhat brings to mind the Motorola Droid 2 Global.

Its features are nice, though the HTC Arrive is not a perfect one in terms of the lack of 4G network capability, it’s somewhat a bit disappointment for Sprint customers. So what do you think of the device?
