Both Samsung and Verizon have unveiled a new LTE capable smartphone called Samsung Stealth. But those customers who still remember the Samsung SCH-i520 would like to say that it’s not a new smartphone since it has turned up at CES last month. Yes, they are the same device and actually during the CES, the Samsung Stealth didn’t catch an official name but the model number as well as some specs. Now the spec-wises have been reconfirmed on this document, but still no specific release date, except a potential launch in mid-April according to TB’s tipster.
Just as you can see from the image, the phone sports a large 4.3-inch screen with four physical dedicated Android buttons below, and unlike the usual square design, the phone’s bottom is a little bit curved.
Meanwhile, it seems that Samsung has applied the latest technology called Super AMOLED Plus onto many of his new products like Samsung Galaxy S II and Samsung Infuse 4G. And we can still find it on the Stealth. Other specs include Android 2.2 Froyo, a 1GHz processor, an 8MP rear-facing cam with 720p video recording, a 1.3MP front facing camera and WiFi, Bluetooth, etc. However, the device doesn’t come with either Android 2.3 Gingerbread or dual-core CPU, all that brings up an important point, which is that users should not expect it to be a miracle device.
Well, by presenting a not full touchwiz wide screen, personally I think the device may not really appeal to those of us that are a little more fashion-conscious.
